Don’t do anything, and stay the hell out of his personal life.

    It is nobody’s business.

This teacher is entitled to have a life out of school. The most difficult thing about being a teacher is your job follows you into the community and every where you go. Teachers are expected to be model citizens at all times. This teacher does not have the right to force his view points upon his students, but he is entitled to live his life. Why should he be unhappy to stop the gossip around town when they are only going to find something else to gossip about?

get a grip on reality. you are homophobic.95% of teachers are liberal, but conservatives don’t take action to rid the world of them. have you ever seen a straight girls phis ed teacher? i haven’t, but they didn’t convert all students to lesbianism. what people do in the privacey of thier own bedroom is nobodies business but thiers.

i think you guys should all just mind your business and let them be who they are. as long as they’re not pushing their beliefs onto the children then it shouldn’t concern any of you. what teachers do outside of the school is their business. and just a little newsflash to you guys in that neighborhood
IF YOUR CHILDREN ARE GOING TO BE *** THEN IT DOESNT MATTER WHETHER THE TEACHER IS *** OR STRAIGHT! YOUR CHILDREN ARE GOING TO BE THEIR OWN PEOPLE!
think about how many children there are with straight teachers who still turn out to be ***. leave that man and his boyfriend alone. you never know, he could be a really good teacher. teachers should be chosen based on their education and their ability to teach children…..NOT on who they want to go out with.

Love is Love, and i don’t think that because he is *** he should be taken away from his job.

What do you mean a good example? His being *** is setting a “bad” example? It sounds like this is just a case of homophobia to some extent, and there really is no action to take. Unless he’s all over his partner in the classroom or around students (in a way that would be considered inappropriate for a couple of ANY gender, not just a same *** couple), then there’s really nothing wrong with his lifestyle.

My own personal opinion, anyway :]

I am sick of *** this and that in the scholl period. My kids have a ******* teacher/dean which is fine. But HOW DID I KNOW WHO SHE SLEEPS wIth? Because she’s in DRAG everyday! DRESSES like a man, shoes, pants, shirt, No make up, one earring, Man haircut, and tries to talk deep. OF COURSE over the womens sports as well. the school sports a lesbi/gay club. WHY OH WHY are we worried about WHO MINORS ARE SLEEPING WITH? The gays need to keep their hormones to themselves like HETERO people have to. Is it ok for a female teacher to promote her HETERO sexual life by dressing ULTRASEXY to guys? NO! then neither is it ok for *** people to DRESS or ACT in a NON NEUTRaL wat. They should not BROADCASt sexuality to KIDS. Yes the kids will see it in the real world. But they will also see ****! Should we let teachers dress like doms?! So as long as the *** teacher just LOOKS AND ACTS like a PERSON and not a *** person on Taxpayers time, I could care less who he sleeps with. I KNOW you people will **** on me for this one, but facts are facts. NO ONE has ever been PROVEN to be BORN ***. NO scientific study has been proven and COPIED a second time with the same results…EVER. PERIOD. So this notion that people cannot HELP themselves is NOT fact, but media fiction. SO the *** teaCHER could CHILL while teaching my kids.

I will be the first to admit it can be hard to set aside personal views on the matter and be objective. The thing I would encourage you to remember, it is likely the administrators already know, and they have a responsibility to evaluate each teacher. They likely have a good reason to want him in the classroom, likely he is a compassionate, male teacher that the kids like, and respect. As long as he keeps his personal relationships out of the classroom, like all teachers should, he is no additional concern than ANY teacher. Two years ago I was interviewing potential music teachers for our school, and watching them teaching sample lessons with a tough class….mine! The man we hired was so adept at working with the kids, and talented in the musical arts, we hired him from a pool of several applicants. He by far was the best. I believed he was likely to be gay, but that wasn’t a consideration when you look at the great program he could offer our students. Last year was his first full year, and I am thankful we selected him! We had the best Christmas show ever, the middle schoolers were engaged with music (a huge challenge for that group), and every child I have ever met enjoyed his class, even if they weren’t music fans.
Think about what the teacher likely has to offer the kids, then if you are a parent in the school with a child in his class, volunteer in the classroom and see what you think. This shouldn’t be grist for the rumor mill.
If after observing, you believe it is a toxic situation talk with the teacher, then the administator if you are still dissatisfied. Otherwise, keep your observations about the teacher to yourself, and allow him to do what is best for the students. Think about the message you are sending the kids if you choose to create a ruckus and don’t use proper channels and private conversations with those DIRECTLY involved.
Before you label me as a liberal, I am not! I am the most conservative member of my school staff, married, with two children, and Republican. I feel strongly that this situation has the potential to spiral out of control, and in the end, it will be the kids and the teacher who will be hurt!
