The future im going to go with next year considering our technolgy will be devolped by them.

Geeze, there’s about a billion factors that need to be in place before this could happen.
How about by 2108? That gives us a hundred years to get our act together.
Never, hopefully.
It’s a stupid idea.
The amount of money that we now spend on the space program, could be used to feed the hungry, cure diseases, or a whole list of other things.
The amount it would take to set up a colony on one of these giant, inhospitable rocks, would be so outrageous, that it would be just turbo-stupid to do.
People’s fascination with science fiction has gotten out of hand.
This is like saying it makes sense to get two football teams up on the moon to play a game.
Great. Just a few billion more dollars wasted.

Most of the history shows us ” Necessity Is The Mother Of Invention.” I do not see much in this being seriously being considered, or much work being done until the need to do so makes itself known.
Within 50 years, if only we could invent something to protect us from the deadly gamma rays during our transport to one of Jupitor’s moons or Mars… We’d have to build bio-spheres on Mars tho….
I believe we are not even attempting to go to Mars until like 2025. It would probably take quite a while before we could colonize. If I had to guess, I would say it would be around 2300 when we first have a little self sustaining facility or small city with people living permanently.
