living will
Autumn Leaves asked:

After seeing what my parents went through healthwise I definitely want a living will. But a non-blood witness has to sign. When you have troubles no one knows you anymore, I don’t have a non-blood witness. Can a notary or in-law sign as witness?

If you want it to have teeth, you need to have an attorney draw it up and then a couple people on his/her staff will sign as witnesses.

The age of 18 can be witness.

The question depends upon the state that you are in and what their statutes require. Wills and estates are matters for the state. If you ask your question again with the state included and you get a reply WITHOUT a reference to statute that you can review, skip it and move on.
