We live in OK, my husband is looking at starting a new job in Texas (about 30 miles away)
We are going to remain here -as we are buying our house.
I know TX will take taxes out of our check and we will have to fill out TX tax forms, but will we also have to pay OK income tax?
The pay would be double what we have now and we have a car with high mpg.

I know that my employers will be sending me w-2′s in the mail but I am legally separated and my legally-separated husband has tried to claim my taxes, forging my signature and taking my refunds. We don’t live together. I live with my parents, which I don’t want him to find out their address. If he tries to go to IRS and retrieve my w-2 forms, will he be able to do it? Or do I have to be there with him? I am hoping he won’t be able to get anymore money from me than he has already taken. Thanks!

I worked the full year with the same employer. I earned about $31,000.00 gross and paid in about $7,000.00. I claim 2 and have one child to report. I receive childcare assistance and participate in my company’s 401k plan.
I would like to file on my own this year and just want to make sure I am covering all my bases. Please tell me the forms and deductions I will be using. I live in the state of MN.
