I’m a junior in college and I would like to move out in the spring into a studio apartment. But I get scared a lot when I’m alone in the dark, and I just wonder are studio apartments really scary or is it just all in my head? Anyone here live in one? How is it?

I am attending college in the fall. Unlike most people, I will be living at home when most of the student body live on campus. Will I be at a huge disadvantage socially because of this? I’m not a partyer as it is, but I still want to make friends and have a social life.
