Emma S asked:
I’ve stuck it on the windowsill – south east facing – in the living room and put it in a shallow saucer of water, how can I make it grow? I got it yesterday and it perked up after a drink but now it’s gone all droopy again. The soil is damp so it’s not thirsty

I love the white Asters that are blooming right now (July) and would love to use them in my september wedding centerpieces but I don’t know if they will still be in bloom. I pick a bouquet of these asters, queen ann’s lace and another white wildflower im not sure what it was for accent and placed them in a blue ball mason jar. It is absolutely gorgeous! Any insight is greatly appreciated! Also I live in South Central Pennsylvania.

hellothere asked:
I have about five stalks of 4-5 feet long bamboo that have been living in a glass vase for about 1 and half. They have sprouted roots and appear to be healthy. Recently, I noticed that the glass vase that is holding them is cracked and leaking water. I would like to pot the plants in the soil, but I’m afraid that they might die if they move to soil. Does anyone have experience doing this? I’m willing to buy some decent potting soil, fertilzer and all the necessary aparatus. Haven’t had good luck with plants in soil. Need some advice and help.
