Bailey asked:

My friend’s mom bought two male Bettas for two of her kids. They don’t have tanks. They are keeping them in two small glass cups. If I remember, they have a whole bunch of crap in the cups that could damage the Bettas fins. The cup is of course not filtered. I’ve heard that Bettas can live like that, but its just as bad as living in the petstore cups. Just a little larger.

Clumsical ~Betta Freak~ asked:

I have one male and one female platy in a tank with a halfmoon betta. They haven’t bred yet, because they are both pretty young, but it is going to happen eventually.

If I don’t provide any hiding spaces, will the parents eat some, and the betta finish off the rest, or will some live? I don’t really like the idea of having baby fish swimming around.

Is there a way to ensure African Dwarf Frogs living with Betta fish will eat their food and not have it stolen by the Betta fish without having to monitor?
