will they allow a person who lives in a studio apartment or a room to adopt one or two cats?
What do shelters and rescues check for when putting up cats for adoption?

Okay last question on the cat I found. She seems to take refuge in the bathroom. She will wander around the house at night when the dogs are sleeping. During the day she just stays in the bathroom and will his at the dogs if they come in, but she holds her ground in there. She’s friendly to us and likes to be pet and all…but will she get used to us, the dogs and the house and feel comfortable enough to actually leave the bathroom during the day?

I will be moving down to school pretty soon with my parents cat because they do not want him anymore. He is around 13 years old, 12lbs, and siamese mix. The apartment I am moving into has a cat in it already that nor he or I have met before. I was looking for tips on how to coup with two cats living in the same apartment and steps or tips that can help make sure they get along enough to live together. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I took my 4 yr old cat out of a home with other cats. He seemed lonely and would escape out of the house and go straight to the neighborhood cats. I thought bringing a new cat into the home would stop this behavior and since he grew up in a house with 5 other cats I didnt see a problem, but I brought home a new kitten today and he doesnt seem to like it at all. Will this get better or should I bring the kitten back?

We recently lost our beloved cat to a coyote. When we are ready to get another cat, which breeds would be best kept indoors? We don’t want to experience this kind of loss again!

I have a russian blue cat, and it sometimes is leaving a mess on my couch, even though it has a clean litter box. As I mentioned it happens once in a few days. I heard that there is a spray which you can spray on yor litter box and the cat will do its business there, but in my stituation I am looking for a spray which I could spray on my couch to prevent my cat from leaving a mess there.

I have just adopted a 5 month old male kitten and he was just neutered the other day. My roommate has a 1.5 year old female cat. Besides the obvious potential issues when introducing the two, will my male kitten be more likely to spray in this living situation? Our apartment is about 1200 square feet with plenty of space to run around… if that helps any. Thanks!
