I, __________________________, being of sound mind and body,
do not wish to be kept alive indefinitely by artificial means. Under
no circumstances should my fate be put in the hands of pinhead
politicians who couldn’t pass ninth-grade biology if their lives depended
on it.
If a reasonable amount of time passes and I fail to ask for:
( please initial all that apply )
_________ a pizza
_________ a beer
_________ a steak
_________ a kiss
_________ coffee or a latte
_________ the remote control
_________ a bowl of ice cream
_________ chocolate
_________ cookies
_________ sex
It should be presumed that I won’t ever get better. When such a
determination is reached, I hereby instruct my appointed person and
attending physicians to pull the plug, reel in the tubes and call it a
day.
Under no circumstances shall the members of the Legislature enact a
special law to keep me on life-support machinery. It is my wish that
these boneheads mind their own sweet business, and pay attention
instead to the future of the millions of Americans
who aren’t in a permanent coma.

I, __________________________, being of sound mind and body, do not wish to be kept alive indefinitely by artificial means. Under no circumstances should my fate be put in the hands of pinhead partisan politicians who couldn’t pass ninth-grade biology if their lives depended on it, or lawyers/doctors/hospitals interested in simply running up the bills.
If a reasonable amount of time passes, and I fail to ask for at least one of the following:
____________my emails______a Martini ______a Margarita ______ a Scotch and soda ______a Bloody Mary ______a Gin and Tonic _______a Glass of Chardonnay _____a Steak ______Lobster or crab legs ______The remote control ______a bowl of ice cream ______The sports page ______or Chocolate________________a little rock and roll.
It should be presumed that I won’t ever get any better. When such a determination is reached, I hereby instruct my appointed person and attending physicians to pull the plug, reel in the tubes, and call it a day. At this point, it is time to call the New Orleans Jazz Funeral Band to come do their thing at my funeral, and ask all of my friends to raise their glasses to toast the good times we have had.

NOTE:
I also hear that in Ireland they have a Nursing Home with a Pub. Nascar on TV.
The patients are happier, and they have a lot more visitors. I would get to see everyone I know.
Some of them don’t even need embalming when their time comes.
If anyone knows the name of this happy place, PLEASE let me know!

Our daughter is 17 and will be a H.S. senior this year. Her 2 year college is about 46 thousand. Just notified that she is the beneficiary of 49 thousand lump sum annuity. She will be 18 in Feb. We never dreamed this could happen and want to do what is best, we don’t anticipate ever being in a position to leave her any money and would like to do whatever is best with this money. Do we just tell the college or do we still fill out the financial aide forms. There will still be cost of living, apartment, food etc. Please help!
