I want these legal instruments to be in place so I’m DNR/DNI in the event of hospitalization but do not want to get ripped off by a lawyer. Can I do this without a lawyer (in NC)? If not, what is the best way to get legal assistance? Thanks!

He has a living mother and 2 adult sons.(and a wicked girlfriend)
I think the g/f has implied to the staff that they are married and keeping certain family members out.
I know that SHE HAS NO RIGHTS.
But to set the record straight, who would have rights by default, his mother or his sons.
